Dr. Barbara Wall
Dr. Barbara Moktthewenkwe Wall, a mixed-ancestry Bodwewaadmii Anishinaabekwe, is an Associate Professor in the Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies and Director of Studies for the Indigenous Studies PhD program. She teaches in the Indigenous Environmental Studies and Sciences program. Wall’s research is based in the Indigenous Environmental Institute at Trent University and focuses on the collaboration of Indigenous knowledge systems and euro-centric scientific knowledge systems. Wall holds a PhD in Indigenous Studies from Trent University, MSc in Civil Engineering for University of California Berkeley, and BSc in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Shawna Corcoran
Shawna is a Demonstrator/Technician with the School of the Environment at Trent University. Shawna’s research interests include investigating environmental contaminants in water and wastewater, and also evaluating overall water quality. Shawna has experience not only operating, but developing new methods to extract and quantify a variety of environmental contaminants using a wide range of analytical instruments (e.g., LC-MS/MS, IC, ICP-OES, etc). She aspires to help students succeed academically and professionally in the laboratory and field by encouraging hands on learning experiences.

Stephanie Rutherford
Stephanie Rutherford is an Associate Professor in the Trent School of the Environment. Her interdisciplinary environmental research has two main streams: 1. The human dimensions of conflict with wildlife and strategies for justice-based coexistence; 2. The legacy and contemporary reality of environmental injustice. Stephanie is the author or editor of four books that chart this terrain. Stephanie holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from York University, MSc in International Development and Rural Extension from the University of Guelph, and BA in Sociology and Criminology from the University of Toronto.
